Business Administrator

Overview

We have an opportunity, for someone who has excellent communication skills and a passion for working in education, to join our friendly admin team at Pevensey & Westham CE School. 

Our School is located in a beautiful historic village setting.  It is a mixed two form entry Church of England school serving 420 children between the ages of four and eleven with a school based nursery on site for our youngest learners.

You will act as first point of contact with parents, agencies and all visitors to the School.  It is essential that you are presentable and have good interpersonal skills.  We are looking for someone who shares our values and is eager to make a positive contribution to our school community. Whether you’re an experienced administrator or looking to take the next step in your career, we welcome your application.

Personal attributes

This position will provide general administration support in the school reception, therefore you will require an excellent telephone manner and also have experience of using Microsoft Office and other software packages.  You will be organised, accurate and able to work on your own initiative.  You will also provide first aid cover.

Salary and hours

Salary from £25185 to £25583 per year

Hours: 26 hours 15 minutes a week, Monday - Friday 09.30 - 15.15, term time only plus one week in the summer holidays.
